Hrvatsko društvo za gajenje lova i ribarstva 1881.
Malo je društava u nas, koja su uspjela da se održe toliki niz godina i koja mogu nakon predanog rada od čitavog jednog stoljeća reći naš trud nije bio uzaludan, naš je uspjeh velik i potpun.
Godine 2021. društvo je obilježilo 140. godišnjicu kontinuiranog postojanja i rada.

Ovo društvo osnovano je daleke 1881. godine u Zagrebu kao treće lovačko društvo organizirano i registrirano u kontinentalnoj Europi. Osnutak tog društva označuje početak organiziranog lovstva u Hrvatskoj.
